Blogging light to none

I am engrossed in getting my 8 year old through his "Public Class" at his private school in Oaxaca. The better private schools conduct a "Public Class" every trimester. It is a class held before the parents and school administrators and is very formal in nature. The students must answer a round of questions in Spanish mathematics, grammar, science and English grammar and spelling. The top students in the class are thusly recognized and rewarded "in public". This is the final "Public Class" and, as such, is the most important as it will establish the final class position of each student for the year. The exercise will be held Monday at 10:00 AM at the (swankiest hotel in Oaxaca whose name I can't remember). Like I said, very formal. Whoopee.
