EXCLUSIVE: Silent Majority not stupid!

John Solomon, Associated Press writer in the "Oregon Magazine":
I think Nixon's "silent majority" isn't being polled by the major league (read: liberal) journalists. I further think that in spite of this gigantic voting segment's dissatisfaction with a number of non-conservative Bush policies, this group is not made up of people who bang themselves in the head with hammers because they are too stupid to realize where the pain is coming from.
And he has lots of other juicy quotes, to wit:
A once-great American political party has become a pesthole for socialist radicalism. The whining of its principals, people without princples, is now incessant.
and,
This (participation in the election of George Bush), according to the American Left, is a felonious activity in that like the Republican takeover of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, diminished their power, which is theirs by tradition and birth.
Oh, there's more, like this on the Valery Plame/Karl Rove/non-indictment:
So, you ask yourself, what the Hell is all this fuss about?

Politics, lads and lassies. The Democrat Party, no longer the party of Truman and JFK, has been taken over by radical leftists, and may be viewed as nothing more than a pack of liars who are enemies of America.

This fall, I think, all their rhetoric, all their lies, contrary to the pronouncements of their propaganda arm, the mainstream media, will come home to haunt them. All the claims of impending victory for them, including a retaking of the House, the Senate or both, may turn out to be so much whistling in the wind.
I think that Mr. Solomon, so obviously shy to express an opinion, speaks for a lot more people than do the pollsters. I guess we'll see, won't we?
