Oaxaca, Mexico: Juarez University announces that it will reopen tomorrow.

Right. I'd send my kiddies right on over there.

This in spite of the university still being occupied by APPO and the adjacent streets and avenues blocked by APPO barricades and burned out vehicles.A small army of university employees, at the public's expense, has been working throughout the afternoon to try to get the university ready for tomorrow's classes. Sweeping, painting and avoiding eye contact with the masked APPO insurrectionists still manning the street barricades.

The masked APPO thugs manning the barricades have supplies of gasoline filled bottles and shopping carts (courtesy of the manager of Soriana Stores, recently released from the hospital) filled with rocks.

I'm not quite sure what the coward who masquerades as the university's rector will do when only 10% of his student body shows up for classes tomorrow. He'll probably punish the no-shows severely because he knows those kids won't drag him out into the middle of Avenida Universidad and kick his ass up around his shoulder blades, as the APPO kids have threatened to do, several times. And he'll report to the news media that he's got 99% attendance in classrooms, lecture halls and laboratories left 100% spotless, gleaming and untouched by the occupiers.

For all of you lefties who slobber uncontrollably and jerk spasmodically whenever you visit this blog, that car over there on the left belonged, no doubt, to a "rich" guy. A rich guy who ate his daily breakfast at McDonalds, lunch at Burger King and dinner at Pizza Hut. Rich guys are commonly seen driving around the city in decrepit old VW Beetles, illegal to export to the USA since 1972. And without any hesitation whatsoever, I can declare that the rich owner of the pictured and now defunct kaput VW Beetle drove it right up to the barricade whilst shouting, "Burn this one! Burn my car next!"
