Oaxaca, Mexico: Why these kids need to get back to school

Mark in Mexico, http://markinmexico.blogspot.com/, Pale Horse Galleries for gifts, collectibles, arts and crafts, http://palehorsemex.vstore.ca/, Mexico City: Supposed students of the College of Science and Humanities blocked asccess to the college today with a protest banner that was seriously misspelled.Take a look at this photo. These are supposed striking "students" who have closed the College of Sciences and Humanities at Azcapotzalco, wherever that is. I'll translate the banner exactly as it is written:

Stop the Repricing in Oaxaca!

What's that? Is Sam's Club raising prices? To the barricades!!

I think what these boys and girls meant was "represión", or "repression". See what just a few months without any schoolin, readin, ritin 'n' rithmitic can do?

Reforma says that real students who arrived this morning and couldn't get in assured reporters that the masked strikers were not students at all. That figgers, dont it?

Please visit the Pale Horse Galleries online store
for art, gifts and collectibles -- all hand made
by Mexican indigenous artists.
Thanks!
