Tom DeLay - lower than a ham sandwich?

There's an old adage that a prosecutor can convince a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich. If this is true, then Tom DeLay has just been classified as a being with less stature than a ham sandwich. Texas prosecutor Ronnie Earle, after a 3 year investigation and at least one grand jury indictment crumbling before his very eyes, frantically raced from grand jury to grand jury - musical grand juries? - trying to get some kind of indictment returned against DeLay that might actually make it to trial. One of those multiple grand juries (we now know of at least 3) refused to return an indictment against DeLay. What does that make DeLay? A lettuce salad? Ronnie Earle can't even get an indictment of a lettuce salad. What a joke.
