The Danish Muhammed Cartoons

Here are the 12 cartoon depictions of Muhammed that have the Danes in such hot water with the Islamofascists. The Danish newspaper Jyllands Posten asked around for someone to give them or make for them a depiction of Muhammed. When the newpaper discovered that no such image existed (that's a no-no in Muhammedlandia) and nobody wanted to make one, the paper foolishly, IMHO, issued a public invitation for images. Twelve cartoonists responded with their personal impressions of Muhammed. These are what the newspaper received and then even more foolishly printed.

Even though I may have little respect for Islam and its 6th century dark ages beliefs and practices, I probably wouldn't have defied a sacred belief such as that of not depicting the prophet in any image. Not if I wanted to avoid picking a fight with the Islamofascists. I reprint these here with the caveat that I am providing a service to those who would like to see what all the fuss is about.
