Hawaii gasoline price controls: good government at work

The gasoline price caps signed into law in Hawaii last month are doing a great job of helping the profit margins of the gas stations. Stations have been able to raise prices, some of them the day after the law went into effect, by as much as $.27 per gallon. I'm sure that Hawaii's grateful citizens will be more than happy to keep returning the morons who wrote the law back to office. Their fellow morons in the California legislature, you know, the ones that allow the teachers union and prison guards union to run the whole state, have said they'll be watching the Hawaii law very closely in anticipation of instituting just such a law in the sunshine state. Who will they allow to write their law, GIMIGAS? (Great Illegal Mexican Immigrant Gasoline Amalgamated Society)
