Ghosts of Elections Past

A new Gallup Poll says that 32% of Americans believe that ghosts or spirits of the dead can come back for a visit. Even more people, 37%, believe that houses can be haunted. Okaaay.

Now comes the fun part. Of those polled by political yearnings:

Conservatives who believe in ghosts: 25%
Moderates who believe in ghosts: 35%
Liberals who believe in ghosts: 42%

42% of Liberals polled believe in ghosts; FDR, HST, JFK (the real one), LBJ, the nightmare of Jimmy Carter, WJC.

I, too, believe in ghosts. The ghosts of Yankee World Series victories, cause that's all I've got these days.
