Darfur doesn't need UN's help, thank you.

Since 2003, it is estimated that 200,000 black people have been murdered by the Arab Janjaweed in Darfur, Sudan and another 2,500,000 have been driven from their homes.

From the New Zealand Herald:
UN Security Council members have failed to convince Sudan's President of the need for a UN peacekeeping mission in the violent Darfur region, diplomats have said.
Here are the words and phrases that drive Americans into a frenzy of wanton imperialistic bloodlust:
. . . the government would take up the issue . . .
. . . a military assessment mission . . .
. . . discussed their findings. . .
. . . respective political parties would be consulted. . .
I think we are going on in the right direction. . .
. . . a more robust mandate. . .
. . . efforts have intensified to persuade. . .
"Our message would be we'd like you to sign and if you start impeding the agreement then the Security Council will be watching very carefully indeed."
The Security Council will now visit. . .
. . . will consult with. . .
The council will also visit. . .
Apparently the UN Security Council has hit upon a new tactic for handling mass-murdering and ethnic-cleansing tin pot dictatorships; visit them into submission! Oh, yass, "We'll be watching very carefully indeed."
