Stop it or you'll go blind

Really, it's true. Men using Viagra or Cialis and who also suffer from cardiovascular disease stand a high chance of going blind. The affliction is called - ready for this? - non-arteritic anterior ischaemic optic neuropathy, or naion, for short. It can result in sudden and irrepairable loss of sight.

Of course Pfizer, the maker of Viagra, says,
"A review of 103 Viagra clinical trials involving 13,000 patients found no reports of naion," said a statement.

"There is no evidence showing naion occurred more often in men taking Viagra than men of similar age and health who did not."
Then comes the clever disclaimer:
A spokesman said labels had been changed last year to give more information.
Last year? So, this apparently did not come as new news to Pfizer.

Mark Martin's No. 6 Roush Racing Ford - 2005

The Nascar Drivers Association as well as the Nascar Team Owners have insisted that Mark Martin and Roush racing move to this car for the 2006 Nextel Championship series.

The reason for the switch should be obvious.
