His royal highness Robert Mugabe visited his hand picked parliament today and gave a 38 minute speech condemning lawlessness and defending Operation Murambatsvina (drive out trash).
This operation is the one in which soldiers swoop down on dirt poor squatters, destroy and burn their shacks and steal all personal possessions of any value. The unfortunate people are then loaded into trucks and driven to the outskirts of the cities to be imprisoned in concentration camps. There, I suppose, they await death.
His worshipfulness arrived at parliament in a black Rolls-Royce, medals pinned to his chest. Medals which he no doubt won in his many glorious victories over ... well... the palace ants and cockroaches, I guess.
